The name explained in a very simple way: Vladan
Vukovic IMPort Export. We are a small family-owned
business located in Sydenham, Christchurch.
Our operations started in an old warehouse with only 200m2 that we repurposed to meet
the requirements for safe food production.
Our first machine, who we have appropriately named "Mama" as well as through manual
packing, we achieved many of our goals even beating the deadlines we were given,
happily surprising our clients, and customers.
Vladan Vukovic (Wimpex's CEO) states: "We dreamt of establishing ourselves in the New
Zealand market with our own product lines, we knew that it would take a lot of time and
work, but we were ready for it. Within less than a year of our organisation opening its
doors, we had to obtain an additional 200m2 of space from the building adjacent to us to
keep up with the demand for our products,"
Our business is rapidly growing and expanding as we continue to share our goals and
ambitions with our team to build a shared vision.
